Name: John Rosemond
Type of Member: Faculty
From 1971-1980, John worked as a psychologist in community
mental health settings in Illinois, Iowa, and North Carolina and
directed several mental-health programs for children. From
1980-1990, John was in full-time practice as a family
psychologist. He "retired" from the practice of psychology in
1991 and has since devoted his time to speaking and writing. His
syndicated column appears in more than 150 newspapers around the
country. John also directs The Center for Affirmative Parenting,
which provides print, audio, and video resources for parents,
schools, and professionals who work with families.
