Faculty Bio
 
 
Richard Parker began his business career in 1975 in the real estate business by ing, building and selling two Century 21 offices with his mother and partner. That same year he also began a 17-year career with the United States Jaycees. In 1978 Richard was named The Key Man of the U.S. Jaycees after tying in previous year as that organization's national winner. 

As a national winner he met Cavett Robert, the Founder of the National Speakers Association, an organization in which Richard is today a proud member. The friendship with Cavett led Richard to the Positive Thinking Rally and a career in public speaking, where he has shared the stage with speakers such as Zig Zigler, Dr. Norman Vincent Peal and Art Linkletter to mention a few.

In the mid 1980s Richard entered the financial services industry with the Wall Street brokerage firm Dean Witter. After almost a decade in the industry Richard founded what would become a national financial services firm. He built it to over 50 offices and took it public in 1998. Richard retired fro the financial services business in 2003.

Richard is the author of four books pertaining to the financial industry and a fith on Cuba. He has written two licensed financial seminars taught in colleges, corporations and churches by several hundred licensed financial advisors nationwide in 1,000 venues yearly.

He is a teacher of teachers, having trained over 2,000 professional financial advisors from all-50 states, Canada and Japan through he powerful 2-day training programs including Practice Masters - teaching financial advisors how to master their practice. 

Richard's depth of knowledge in the financial industry is obvious but his true talent lies in teaching the complex, in an easy to understand manner, with his trademark slow southern draw and at times a healthy dose of humor.
